• Ashley Earley

FOUNDER, CHIEF EDITOR, & DEVELOPMENTAL EDITOR

Ashley has been writing since 2010 and editing since 2016.

Ashley Earley grew up in Georgia, where she spent most of her time running wild in the woods of her backyard, building forts to create her own fantasy worlds, obsessing over books, and experimenting with her writing.

Today, she lives in Colorado with her dog and still spends her time devouring any book she can get her hands on, writing, and editing for her clients. In May of 2021, she graduated with distinction from University of Colorado Boulder, receiving a B.A. in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. She also enjoys snowboarding, exploring, annoying her dog, constantly eating chocolate, and sharing her writing adventures on Instagram.

Her Thriller/Suspense short story, Chasing Hair of Gold, won first place in the 2016 Writer’s Digest Popular Fiction Awards.

As a writer, she leans into fantasy or horror due to her love of all things creepy. As an editor, she loves a little bit of everything when it comes to fiction. Give her that steamy, forbidden romance, give her vampires, or even that young lovey-dovey stuff with all the twists and turns!

    LINE EDITOR & PROOFREADER

Taylor grew up in Arizona and enjoyed exploring fantasy worlds as a child. This love for imaginary adventures developed into a passion for reading and writing. She is an alum of the University of Arizona where she earned a B.A. in English and Creative Writing (with an emphasis in fiction writing). Give her the time of day, and she’ll talk your ear off about Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, or Shakespeare!

Handing in your manuscript can be a scary decision, but Taylor knows what that feels like, and she is determined to help aspiring authors navigate the editing process. She wants to help authors put their best work forward!

Obsessed with dragons, Fae, and castles, she loves reading fantasy for all ages, but a little romance never hurt anyone. She is happy to explore new genres!

  • Nova

    COMPANY MASCOT

Nova is often in Ashley’s office, sleeping beside her or at her feet. If she isn’t with her mom, she can be found walking around with a ball or sleeping in strange places around the home. She isn’t a big reader because books take away attention from her. Tennis balls, cuddles, and treats are superior.

Work with Someone You TRUST

Putting your book into the hands of an editor is scary. That’s why I do everything I can to work with my clients to make sure I’m meeting their needs and expectations. I strive for a great, trusting relationship with my clients.

Creative Guidance

Creative guidance is essential to avoid plot holes, inconsistencies, questions from readers, and keeping readers from putting your book down.

Editing the Pieces Together

I think of writing a book similar to putting together a puzzle. With every chapter you write, the pieces of the puzzle come together to create a clearer picture. However, all the pieces to the puzzle aren't in place when you finish writing your draft. A bunch of pieces are still scattered on the side. The puzzle comes together during the editing process.

Editing . . . a necessary evil

Whether you’re a new or experienced writer, editing is a necessary process. That’s where I come in.

Error-Free Writing

Keep readers engaged through error-free writing.

The Process

Every moment of the writing process leads you to the finale . . . even editing.
