Any suggestions we make are able to be accepted or rejected via the Track Changes feature documents so kindly provide.
How It Works
Filling Out a Form for a FREE Sample
Fill out the contact form to request an editing service. Earley Editing, LLC will perform a 1,000-word sample of the editing service you desire for free.
Check your Inbox!
Be sure to check your email for our response! Sometimes these things can end up in spam, so be on the lookout because we always respond to confirm we’ve received contact forms.
Working Together
Once both sides agree we are a good fit to work together on editing your manuscript, Earley Editing, LLC will provide a quote based on the total word count of your manuscript and desired service. From there, signing a contract is required before moving forward.
Payment Plan
If you would like to set up a payment plan for editing, please let us know so we can work something out! Most of our clients take advantage of our payment plan option, as many writers love the breakdown a payment plan offers them while also receiving the services we provide. Earley Editing, LLC has worked with several clients to make service fit their financial needs. Please check our reviews, FAQs, and ask for more information.
Editing Document
Earley Editing, LLC specifically requests Word documents of your manuscript so we can work with Track Changes feature turned on. This also allows us to include comments, questions, critiques, etc. in the margins of the document. During service, we will also write up extensive feedback in our editorial letter. The letter we send back with your manuscript can come out to be 10-30 pages in length.
Turnaround Time for Editing
At Earley Editing, LLC, we pride ourselves on turning things in on time or even early (pun intended), depending on the needs and flexibility of our clients. Our turnaround times depend on the desired service, word-count, and whether you request a payment plan. Excluding payment plans, our turnaround time is typically 4-6 weeks. For our payment plans, we work on a month-by-month basis by splitting your manuscript into parts that reflect however many months you’d like for the payment plan. From there, we start editing on the 1st of every month and turn in each part on the last day of every month.

Work with Someone You TRUST
Putting your book into the hands of an editor is scary. That’s why we do everything we can to work with our clients to make sure we’re meeting their needs and expectations. Earley Editing, LLC strive for a great working and trusting relationship with clients. Especially if we’re working with a client for a period of months via our payment plan option.

Creative Guidance
Creative guidance is essential to avoid plot holes, inconsistencies, questions from readers, and keeping readers from putting your book down.

Editing the Pieces Together
At Earley Editing, LLC, we think of writing a book similar to putting together a puzzle. With every chapter you write, the pieces of the puzzle come together to create a clearer picture. However, all the pieces of the puzzle aren’t in place when you finish writing your draft. A bunch of pieces are still scattered on the side. We firmly believe the puzzle comes together during the editing process. We’ve seen it!

Editing ... a necessary evil
Whether you’re a new or experienced writer, editing is a necessary part of the process. When aiming for traditional publishing, your book is required to be put in the hands of an editor on staff at a publishing house. Why would self-publishing be any different? That’s where we come in!
-
Error-Free Writing
Keep readers engaged through error-free writing. We often see books that go unread because of errors. Mistakes can make for difficult reading. Don’t let your book be one that readers put down or don’t purchase because of this!

The Process
Every moment of the writing process leads you to the finale…even editing.
