10 Things About Me

I thought I would properly introduce myself on my blog since I just met a bunch of writers on social media! Here are 10 random facts about me, my writing, and my editing business.

🌿 I write horror and fantasy. I just finished writing the first draft of my horror novel about the development of a serial killer.

🌿 I’m always working to learn more about the craft of storytelling, the craft of editing, and all the ways I can improve myself.

🌿 I work as a full-time freelance editor.

🌿 I despise cinnamon. The taste and smell. While autumn is my favorite season, the one downfall is all the cinnamon.

🌿 I’m obsessed with snowy mountains, so long as I don’t have to drive that is. I’ve been living in Colorado for 4 years now and I have yet to stop being amazed by how pretty the mountains are.

🌿 I can’t seem to be a plant mom no matter how hard I try. I think I just need to accept that I don’t have a green thumb and stop my plant murdering spree.

🌿 I read fantasy—usually YA. I’ve loved the genre since Twilight and I don’t think it will ever stop.

🌿 In 2022, I’m going to work to get a certification in book coaching so I can help fiction writers achieve their bookish dreams.

🌿 I want to be traditionally and self-published. I have big plans for the two creepy novels I’ve written and I’m ready to edit my own work to make that happen!

🌿 After a long day of work, I usually like to wind down by cooking, drinking a glass of wine or a cider, or I’ll put one of my many bath bombs to good use.
